Bro. Bill began serving as Calvary’s Pastor in 2012. He is a graduate of Nicholls State University in Thibodeaux, LA (B.S.) and Luther Rice Seminary in Atlanta, Ga. (MMin; MABC; MDiv.). Before his surrender to the ministry in 1997, Bro. Bill was employed as a marketing management professional for Yamaha Motor Corporation. He is married to the former Deborah Shoemake who is a native of this area. Brother Bill and Debbie have four children and one grandchild. He is a licensed private pilot with over twelve hundred hours of pilot-in-command time.
Bro. Charles serves Calvary as Children’s Minister. He earned an M.E. at William Cary College and a M.Div. from Liberty University. He has served the area community as both a staff minister and a public school teacher and sports coach. He is married to Tiffany, his wife of fifteen years and they have two children, Will and Kayla.
Ernestin McDonald Eavenson is a native of Petal, where she graduated from high school. She is a widow with 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She has been a Christian since she was 12 years old and has been involved with teaching in various churches most of her adult life. She has been a member of Calvary Baptist church for over 20 years. She has been a teacher in Sunday school, Awana and Girls in Action for years. She has been our Financial Secretary for over 6 years.
Becky Rutland was born in Hattiesburg. She attended schools in several states and graduated from Petal High School. She relocated from Jackson to Petal to be near family. she has been a Christian since age 14 and been involved in church work and worked in church offices for many years. She is a member of First Pentecostal Church of Hattiesburg.
